About this experience
Pokhara is where most treks in the Annapurna region begin, and the city is worth a morning on its own. On clear days you can see three of the world’s ten highest mountains from here, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu, with Machhapuchhre (6,997 m) rising above the lake.
We start early and drive up to Sarangkot to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna range. Then we take a boat across Phewa Lake to the small Barahi Temple on its island, walk up to the World Peace Pagoda for a wide view over the lake and the valley, and finish at Devi’s Falls, where the water disappears into the ground.
The tour takes about five hours. It is private, only for you and the people you travel with, and a local guide from our team is with you the whole time. We pick you up at your hotel in Pokhara Lakeside, and all entry fees are included. It is a good way to get to know Pokhara before or after your trek.

We'll pick you up from your hotel at 5:00 AM and embark on a breathtaking journey. After a brief 30-minute taxi ride, a short 30-minute hike will bring us to the top of Sarangkot Hill (1,530 m), where we'll witness a stunning sunrise and panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna 1 (8,091 m), and the radiant Machhapuchhre Himal (6,997 m). After taking in the sunrise, we'll return to your hotel for a delicious breakfast to fuel your day.
Fuel up with breakfast, as the excitement of the day continues with a peaceful boat ride on the stunning Phewa Lake. Our next stop is the serene Barahi Temple, a mystical offshore shrine built on a small island in the mid-eastern part of the lake. This picturesque destination is sure to leave you in awe, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the water and the grandeur of the temple. Soak in the spiritual atmosphere and immerse yourself in the unique cultural experience of visiting the Barahi Temple.
Our journey towards peace and serenity continues with a visit to the World Peace Pagoda, a magnificent Buddhist monument dedicated to promoting world peace. This magnificent Stupa stands tall at a height of 1,100 m and offers a breathtaking view of the Himalayan Range, the tranquil Phewa Lake, and the sprawling city of Pokhara from the top of Ananda Hill. Our final destination on this thrilling tour is the magnificent Devi's Fall, a stunning waterfall where the flowing waters of the Pardi Khola River seemingly disappear into an underground gorge, only to reemerge with even more force a half kilometer away, alongside the awe-inspiring Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. This breathtaking natural wonder is the perfect conclusion to our adventure-packed day, and we'll ensure a comfortable and safe return to your hotel.
